Welcome to English Forest!
I have found the English Forest as a reading English picture books volunteer group in Osaka 2024.
It is said that we can take 3000 hours to speak English fluency. I hope that the volunteering can support to learn English.
We are organizing a special English picture book reading event at library, designed to be enjoyable for everyone involved, participants, volunteers, and staff! The events will be for 2-3 year old babies to high school students.
And we are looking for volunteers to assist with our upcoming event. In addition to reading English picture books, we will have fun activities like quizzes and games. No worries if you are not confident in your English.
We welcome all kind of help! Whether you are organizing materials, guiding participants, or assisting with easy tasks, there is a role for everyone.
Supporting Member
Our English picture book read out events are often children’s first encounter with the English language.
Through stories, songs, and imagination, children discover that learning English can be fun and exciting.
Starting April 2026, we will begin recruiting Supporting Members to help sustain and expand this program.
Your support can open a new picture book for a child.

How Your Support Will Be Used
Your contributions will help support:
- Purchasing English picture books
- Printing flyers and promotional materials
- Pronunciation training for volunteers
- Transportation and venue costs for opening new locations such as libraries and community spaces
